How to mix henna with tea?

if you really want to have a successful henna mix, follow these instructions.

They really work and the henna from here is amazing.

tea,coffee, beet juice, paprika, none of that  is going to affect the color of the henna.

I do that all the time.  Although, I don't think the tea helps as much as the henna does.  You basically just get some henna powder, put it in a container, boil up some tea and put a bit in it.  You put more henna as you do for tea (or any liquid, for that matter).  Then you mix it up until you get the glue-like textured paste.  And just rub it on your hair, put a shower cap on, wait a few hours (at least 5, the longer, the better it will show up) and rinse your hair with water or conditioner.

You would have to do this for over a week, at the least, to get a reddish color or hue.  It would work better if your hair were brown or black, as it would be easier to work with, and the hue would be bright and show up more.
