How to mop floors.....

so my mom and dad are really busy. im 16 and well i dont know how to mop floors. i know how to do everything else though. how sould i start like what to mix how much to mix. i see my parents use pine sol. what motion do i use when i mop. stuff like that. help please! i want the house to be clean in about 2 hours so wen my mom gets home she will be suprrised

If you dont have a mop use a sponge.. If you know how to clean the counters... think of it like that.. just clean it towards you and scoot backwards till its all done.. either use your hands or a paper towel at the end to get the dirt you didnt get when you swept

You need very little cleaner, just enough to cut the dirt but no too much to leave a film. If you use Pine Sol, mix about 1/4 cup to about 2 gallons of hot water. I prefer string mops and I use a figure 8 movement with the mop. Go several feet like that then flip the mop. Go several more feet then rinse the mop.

For extra clean, do the whole thing again with just clear water after you get it clean.
