How to motivate myself to go to bed earlier ?

I always plan to go to bed at 10 but never make it! I always end up staying up way later! It makes me so mad cuz I have to get up early for volleyball but I NEVER learn. Help!!!!!

  1. Do you nap in the afternoon?  If so, stop.

    The best way to motivate yourself is to start for it earlier.  Like if you're shooting for ten, make sure the TV/radio/whatever distraction is turned off by 9, 9:30 at the very latest (depending on your bedtime routine).  That's the next thing, develop a bedtime routine if you don't have one, and it will gear your body to sleep mode when you start it each day.  And be in your bed by 9:50.  Set an alarm if you have to.

  4. Emily Jo, dont give up. every one does that its common. try to plan to go to bed at 8 or 9 so u can catch up at 10.

    from what people have been telling me, don't listen to music and stuff...

    or do drugs lol like sleep pills
