I'm moving about 60 miles from my current home and am unsure as to how to get my TV there?! I can't hire movers because that is the only thing going with me that is not going in a storage unit. Any advice?

Thanks!!

  1. Get UPS or anything like that to ship it to were u are moving. I think that's probably the safest way.

  2. Wrap two quilts around the Plasma, tape the last quilt to keep it in place....PROTECT the front !

You CAN lay plasmas down, as I always transport them all day long that way, and NEVER had any issue with them....

Give it a smooth ride...and avoid anything that may damage the screen...bowling balls, tools and other heavy objects should be placed elsewhere in your vehicle....

If I can set it upright, I point the screen towards the outside of the vehicle and use a 3rd quilt between the vehicle and the screen and I STRAP IT IN so it doesn't ROCK !

That's why laying it down is more stable...

Just imagine how that TV will behave along your route, with stops, and right/left turns, and people pulling out in front of you....protect it accordingly.

  3. can it fit in ur car

    or

    a friends/ relatives car??
