  1. bend your knees and swat down and pick it up from the sides- you might have to push it over- slide it over-

if you are too small or too weak to push it consult someone who's like 200+ pounds and tall so they can move it!

    hope this helps!

  2. Transport it standing up. Never on its side.

  3. The procedure is to look in the yellow pages and find an appliance mover or call stores selling appliances and some will move them.

  4. NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER lay a fridge down!!!!!!!! It will very likely never get cold again.

  5. with a dolly

  6. it is my understanding that if you lay the couch down, you need to wait a day before plugging it in and using it. hope this helps.

  7. First, no do not move a fridge on its side, only in the standing.  As far as any other help I would need to know what size fridge, up or down stairs, do you have a dolly, do you have anyone helping you, etc.

  8. It's OK to move it on it's side. You just have to leave it upright at the new location for min 24 hours to let the freon settle back to where it should be. DO NOT plug it in before that time or you may kill your compressor...which is pretty expensive.
