How to move away from yahoo groups?

sir/madam, i registered my id in one of the yahoo groups? now iam getting frequent messages from that group.now i like to move away from that group?please tell how to come out of unwanted groups

Go to the group's site, click on edit membership along the top. In the next window scroll down and check leave group Click save changes and you should be out. It may take a day to take effect.

leave the group by clicking on "Edit Membership" at the top of your my groups page,  then click leave group at the bottom of edit membership page.
