That's a real general question. If you are looking to start an online network marketing business, take some time to do research.  There are all kinds of people out there willing to take your money and give you nothing in return.

Read as many articles as you can (especially from magazines - Entrepreneur, Excellence, etc.)  There are also MANY articles online.  Do searches for "Network Marketing" "Online Marketing"  "Affiliate Marketing" etc.  Go to a bookstore or library and read all you can.  Do this before you spend any money.

Then you will have some perspective when you start a business or choose a company to join.  I only say this because I spun my wheels for awhile - spending lots of time and money with no results.

Also, there are some companies out there that offer FREE online books and videos.  Let me know if you are interested and I can tell you of a couple.

The "how to" for network marketing varies from person to person. There are actually many ways to market your product and opportunity. Even ways that are not taught in network marketing traditionally.

In an inspirational sense, it is important to be real and true to yourself. If you are fake, you will attract fake people. If you are real, and put forth positive effort, you will attract likewise.
