Hey! Well this Thursday I'm goin' with my dad to London from Texas. The flight is around 8 hours. Well I've never been bored during my previous flights, but I might be on this one because it's never been that long. Any suggestions?

PS: We're leavin' in the afternoon so I MAYBE will see some things below me.

  7. You may want to try to get some sleep as you'll probably arrive in London fairly early in the morning London-time, but for you it will be he middle of the night.  You may have to wait til the afternoon to check into a hotel if that's your plan.

Otherwise most international flights have screens at every seat to watch movies, TV shows and play games.  There's nearly 100 movies and programs to choose from. Some will even let you play games with other passengers on the plane.

    Have a good trip.

  8. try pick up the air hostest and go have some fun in da toilet :)

  9. Oh I feel your plane... later on this year I'm going from Melbourne AUS to London and it is going to kill me!

After several decent-length flights; I have a few options for entertainment that I like...

    - music on ipod. I would die without it. It is also nice to listen to some music when i'm trying to rest and if you dont want to talk to anyone you can plug in your ears!

    - I also like to put heaps of movies / tv series' on my ipod so I can watch them on the plane. Usually I'll download a tv series I haven't seen onto it, then I wont get bored as quickly.

    - otherwise there will be a tv behind your seat that will have something entertaining for you to watch.

    - Magazines. I love magazines. They are so entertaining and you dont really have to concentrate on what youre actually reading.

    - take a small game or a pack of cards. You have no idea how entertaining a game of cards is when you are otherwise going to die of boredom.

    - walk around the cabin. It gives you a bit of exercise, and you can stretch your legs which will be feeling a bit weird after sitting down for a while, and then you can also scan the rest of the plane for other people who you may know / may want to get to know, or just look at people haha.

    - I like to take a notebook and pens, just to write things down, make lists for no reason, write a list of things I want to do at my destination... basically anything that will keep me entertained.

    - sudoku or crossword puzzles.

    - sleep. It takes up so much time, its great.

Good luck, hope you have fun.
