How to numbering the photos ( to my taste) & viewing one by one?

I want to edit 400 photos -i am name it 1,2,3,........400.

while viewing it came 67,2,288,....

You have to do it this way if you want them to appear in consecutive order: start with 001, 002, 003 until you reach 099, then continue with 100, 101, 102 until you get to 199, then it's 200, 201 and so on. Just to be on the safe side, I suggest to start with 0001 though instead of 001. That way you won't have to rename your pics once you have more than 1000...:-)
