How to obtain a DMV driving record?

My son recently moved from California to Oregon. He has applied for a job with Pepsi and they want a printout of his California driving record. Obviously if he was in California he could just walk into the DMV and request it...but how does he obtain a copy while still in Oregon?

he can call them and request this or sometimes they will allow this to be done on line,but he,ll have to provide proof of who he is when he,s doing this,in most states now this can be done on line,the company he is going to work for can also request a copy of his driving record,good luck.
