How to obtain new ration card, voter card, gas connection for a new couple who entered into the city.

Why Government is not thinking and introducing as the WELCOME Kit to the citizens . Hope onlie address if avaialble . Can any one have answers for this ... People Working with Hi end computerized environments , but these facilities are still not reaching to the public ....any one would like to add fuel to this ....this is applied for the citizens of Indians

Submit the photocopy of old ration card,voter card and gas connection to the respective offices.If you are newly married first apply for the voter card and with voter card as proof of ID and address apply for ration card and gas connection.

hey muni, it is not that easy to get ration card or election card... there may be online forms and contact addresses, but once when u apply them u will get them when ur son/daughter comes ..... but the eletion commmision card have little confidence that u may get it faster... ok the procedure will be like this... first get in touch with your nearest neighbour who has stayed in that area for a long time and also has ration card and election cards...they willbe the best guide for that.... first apply for ration card, apply the same and u will be given the receipt of it .... and then apply for election card... For gas application in chennai you surely need a ration card... but they do accept this receipt of application for ration card. Soon go ahead and approach your neighbour...and an elderly neighbour will be the most helpful....

for the ration card, visit the nearest ration card office, if u want a fresh voter card visit the SDM ( sub divisional Magsitrate ) office in your area. and for a gas connection go to a gas dealer. But if you had a ration card,voters card and gas connection at the place u were living before moving to this ciry, u have tu surrender the earlier documents and get a receipt for the same. all this is a routine procedure and even the people who dont use net know about it. there is nothing technical involved.
