How to open stucked over floor pool water pump?

My water pump cap is stuck and I can not open it. Is there a trick to do it?

Try spraying it with WD40 penetrating fluid to soften  the corroded part then prey it open with ur tool, once u you get a quarter turn retighten it the then again try loosenturn again repeating repeating the same sequence until it has soften enough.

Use a hammer or something with a little weight n tap on the edge of perimeter, this will lossen any corroded or built up substance. Keep tapping it until it frees up then wd40 it to make sure it never get stuck again.
