it's like open the tv, open the lights.

so basically if they wanted to shut or close the door, please turn off the door? lol

Before lights can be opened, they have to be closed first. So, all you have to do to open the lights is to close it first...lol

The only time you can correctly open the lights is when you say it in Tagalog "Buksan mo ang ilaw" where buksan = open and ilaw = lights.

Otherwise, you need to turn on the lights lest you'd be groping in the dark all night long (which, I think you don't mind doing, ga).  hehehe

Well i think you should start with a screwdriver and if that dosn't open em try using a heavy blunt object like a hammer or baseball bat. Just give it a hard wack and pressto.  LIGHTS OPEN  just be sure to shut off the power before doing so LOL
