How to order for food at la madeleine restaurant?

Question

i hear at la madaleine is different ways to order different food? for example salad one place and other things some other place?

im confused and fairly new to country but want to try it out

please help thank you

Everytime I go, there is someone waiting to help.  You can just start at the beginning of the food line and the counterhelp will get you what you ask for.  If there is anything you want that is not cooked yet, they will give you a wooden cube with a number for you to put on your table and someone will bring you your food.  You get your own beverage.  If you want to take home a loaf of bread or pastries/cakes/cookies>>>>you can get that at the side counter on your way out.  You'll enjoy it, the food is pretty good...especially the Onion soup.

If you want pastries or bread only, go to the pastry counter. If you want to eat a meal there, there is a line to go through. Just pick up a tray and when you see what you want just order from the server. There are plenty of signs and if you have questions, the people who work there will be glad to help.
