I would like to ask how to organize a workshop? For only a maximum of 20 persons inclusive of teachers.

  1. Hello. I am not sure if I have enough information to answer this question, but I think I can give some pointers.

    First, select a time that is good for both teachers and students. Consider lunchtime, and serving food during the workshop. I wouldn't go over an hour. Students and teachers are very busy.

    Give people a lot of notice, at least a month. Then follow up with people about 2 weeks out. With less than 20 people, you can email or call them each personally.

    Really think about what your goals are for the outcome of the workshop. Do you want people to sign up to participate later? Do you want them to read the newspaper? Do you want them to restructure it? Do you want them to fund it? Then choose activities to support your goals. Involve the audience. Consider group activities. End with a question-and-answer section, followed by closing thoughts that involve a call to action.
