Yea i'm also pretty shy too. But it's not always a bad thing really because generally you find that a lot of people appreciate you for not having to be the centre of attention all the time and will want to get to know the person behind the quiet exterior and appreciate that your not a loud person all of the time. By knowing who YOU are in Christ Jesus. Did you knew that He has your photo over His fireplace not just on the mantel but on the wall also. And He carries your photo on His wallet and brags about you to the angels in heaven. He, the Almighty, all powerful, all knowing, God Cares about you. He thinks you have talents He gave you some. I suggest you go to Him and ask Him To pull you out of YOUR shell. Your shell is a self composed prison. The devil laughs at you for being in it. The devil laughs because his vain nature (and it's influence in our lives) is over riding the good sense God put in you. Satan wants more than anything to be the top dog, the big guy, but Is Gods job. satan could not handle the job God gave him. So he is trying to mess up your life as well. and if satan can tell you lies and get you to react to them then he is controlling part of your life. So keep in mind the people you feel shy from are people just like you. they have fears too. but the ones that are not shy simple have not let the devil get to them in that manner. (but don't feel singled out, he gets to us all in different areas) And we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us Phil.4:13

dont worry im shy too..you just have to think i dont care whether people think i look stupid or not..just try and be yourself like you would around family or whatever where your not shy!! just try not to care what people think so much..i cant talk though because im self concious but the advice im giving is the advice i would give myself!
