  1. walk with confidence.

before i'd start acting, i'd work on breaking out of your shell.

talk to people you dont know, make some new friends :)

  2. acting or a public speaking class would certainly help you to control those butterflies in your tummy that always seem to tangle up your tongue.  More importantly, what do you think of yourself?  Are you someone worth talking to?  Do you have anything important to say?  Do you think you could positively impact another person's day, like, by complimenting their wardrobe?  Sometimes, it's just a little practice.  Try chatting with the cashier the next time you go to the store. Ask questions, like "how is your day going?"  When they smile back at you and tell you they're doing great - then ask you how you are doing, you'll feel wonderful knowing you put a smile on someones face that day.  Soon, you'll find it easier and easier to chat it up with people.  Believe me - you are worth talking to and I'm sure you have something important to say.

MOST important - do not label yourself as "shy". Nobody fits that neatly into ANY container!  You simply need to build your social skills.

  3. grl always have confidence wlk with ur head up high it shows pride. dont b scared if sum 1 disrespects u s***w them jus know u r the bomb! u always go have haters but we need them!

  4. Acting would help because it will put you into a situation in which you are forced to go on stand and talk to the audience and the cast members. That might scare to you now but after a couple of classes you will begin to realize that the fear you had of walking the halls, speaking to new people, and giving eye contact is not a big issue. You will realize that the thoughts of it all contained more fear than actually doing it. Other than acting, anything that will force you to speak and meet new people is a good social exposure for you that will slowly help you overcome your shyness. You can find a job that involves you to talk to people, or you can hang with friends and ask them to introduce you to the people they know. Also joining clubs at school makes students all work together and therefore you have to talk to new people. Just know that you shouldn't fear talking to people because they are all human. There is no reason why you should feel scared and intimidated by those situations in which you are shy. Don't worry, the more you meet new people and talk to them, you shyness will go away. It may be hard to push yourself into getting into those social situations, but it will get easier as you keep doing them.

  5. 1.  take a few shots before school

    2.  Wear some skimpy clothes so dudes will talk to you

    3.  Talk

  6. I have the same problem. But don't try acting, that could be a little too stressful. Just try to start a conversation with someone, and you can start talking to them, and work your way up from there. Good luck!
