How to pack hangers?

I think my biggest pain of moving is packing all the hangers. I would hate to throw them all out but packing them is a nightmare! I have tried large garbage bags where they have made holes and the bag itself was a burden to fit anywhere. I tried rubber banding several together and I seemed to have dozens of bundles everywhere. Any one else have an idea that worked well for them? Thanks!

Arrange them just like their original arrangement when you bought them. Get a carton box with a height, width, depth almost the same as the length of the hangers. Arrange the hangers inside the box neatly. Seal the box with a packing tape.

Send them by UPS if you want too..lol.
