How to paint a plastic container for a piggy bank, recycle code 5, sanded down

Recycle? Re-use it!

So, I've cut the top of a plastic container (cold cream),

And sanded off the label on top.

The recycle code on it is 5, that is polypropylene.

The internet gives things made out of this plastic to help you paint, but not really how to paint the plastic itself.

Any ideas?

Use a small paint brush and paint away!
