  1. Wipe clean, sand lightly (220 grit is fine, or even schotch brite in funky shaped spots), prime, paint. Pretty straightforward. If you don't sand, neither your paint nor your primer will stick. If you sand without cleaning and allowing to dry, you'll just sand any dirt, grease, etc, into the material, which can contaminate the new paint. Oh, of course, make sure to wipe preferably with a tack rag after sanding to remover all dust so you don't have a messy finish.


  2. put primer on them and select a color...ive done it.
