It is easy to volunteer.  The hardest part is deciding to donate your time, the rest is easy now.  

Do you know what type of volunteer work you would like to do?  If you like to work with children, call local elementary schools or day cares and tell them your desire.  Or if you want to help the elderly, go to a nursing home and paint fingernails, read to them, etc.  If you like animals, volunteer at the animal shelter or your local vets office.  If you care about the environment, go to the park and clean up the trash.  The ideas are endless.
