How to pay by cash in Ebay?

Question

I'm planning to buy something on Ebay but I dont have Pay Pal or a credit card, so, i'm going to pay with cash. If i'm paying with cash do I just put the right amount in an envelope with my and sellers name and address and leave in mailbox for the mail man to pick up or is there more i have to do or differently?
