Question:

How to pay for last two gardasil shots w/o insurance?

I have already had the first shot in my Gardasil program. I have two left to go, one coming up here in the next two weeks and the other a couple months from then. However, my dad's insurance dropped me b/c I am over 18 and not in school. I start school up in fall, but the insurance company won't add me back on until then. I hear that the shots are relatively expensive and I was wondering if there was anyway I could get them done without breaking myself, as I have tuition and books to pay for next month. Thanks!

  1. You could get a part time job with benefits, and get your own health insurance.  Or you could get the part time job, and just save for the shots.

Or you could skip the shots.   They aren't really necessary - they don't prevent cervical cancer, only a couple strains of HPV, and abstinance prevents ALL strains  of HPV.
