I am the owner of a business. Everything in the store is paid off but I am not making ANY profit. Every bit of money I make and more is going towards bills. So my question is, do I still pay tithes on what I make or do i wait until I make profit and pay tithes on profit? I am really confused and I believe if I am not paying tithes and I need to be, then my business will flourishh and grow! Thank you for your in put.

  1. First I would try to get the business's finances in order, so you _are_ making money... then I would tithe based on your net income, because as a small businessman, your net income is more or less equivalent to your "salary".

    I hope this helps.

  2. This is a question best asked to your church minister.

You did not even specify your religion. Not many business owners pay tithes from their business profits, so you need to check this out with the rules of your religion

Or if it is really required, then you might want to consider changing religions.
