  1. Go into the water and relax your bladder.

    Good Luck...

  2. Except for very young infants and children (1 to 6 years of age) which can be anytime, the operator of the boat should warn everyone to use restroom before heading on the boat.  Anyone that feels sick or ill stays on shore, boat riding just makes it worse.

I make this clear before anyone boards the boat, its use it now or suffer later from waiting.

If this warning is ignored on my boat, you have to hold it until the nearest restroom or uninhabited forest shore area is reached.  Urinating in the lake is poor manners and a disservice towards all who use it, remember you get that water in your mouth and face regularly.

This is a uncomfortable lesson to be learned, but the long painful wait does help remind you next time to use it before you head on the boat.

I make no exceptions on this because I make regular runs back to shore every 2 hours or less so there's no reason for this being a problem.

No boating trip should be longer than 3 hours without some trip back to shore so people can rest or use the restroom.

  3. #1 in the lake

    #2 find a restroom

  4. WATER BOTTLE or pretend you want to swim and let it out.  Other than that just ask if the driver will stop somewhere.

  5. Ew. Please don't go in the lake. That's just inhumane. >.<

Make sure you go to the bathroom right before you leave to go on the boat, and if you have to go- hold it. But if you have to go to the bathroom really badly, ask the driver to stop and knock on someones house. I'd let someone go- if it was bad enough.

  6. if ur on a fast boat then u cant get out 2 go pee so u can get a bucket or something and pee in it then throw it in the water, and if the driver or u dont have any toilet paper then u cant wipe unless theres a towl

  7. For years my wife used a 2 gallon bucket. She would sit it in the corner and hold a towel over her lap. I would even get on my knees and use it when there were allot of other boats around and it was not feasible to get into the water. Safer too for the kiddies.

Now that I have a bigger boat with a head, she scoffs at the the idea, but she was OK with it at the time.

  8. Depends on how cold the water is. If the water is warm enough that hypothermia is not a concern, then yes, taking a quick dip for a sneaky-pee is not a bad answer (urine is sterile, meanwhile fish and raccoons are pooping in the same water). Wear your PFD, the number of people (male and female) who have drowned while peeing is sobering.

If the water is too cold for this (or even if it isn't), take along a small plastic Folger's coffee can, or even a wide-mouthed nalgene bottle (that's clearly labelled and committed to that purpose, because, y'know, ew.)  And yes, as on any boat smaller than the Queen Mary, leave your modesty at the dock.

  9. Get in the water....

  10. 1) Jump in the water

    2) Pee in a bucket and dump it over the side

  11. I have purchased a portable John. It is made for situations like this. It is a red bottle with a threaded lid to keep it contained until proper disposal. They also sell a female adapter that goes into the same bottle for females to use. It is called a portable "Lady J" adapter. It is an oblong type funnel that makes it easy to use (according to my wife). You can get it from Cabela's- (cabelas.com). I know that cabelas has them as well as most any boating/camping supplies sales outlet.  From Cabela's the part # for the "Lady J" adapter is IJ-515391 and costs $7.99 the John bottle part  # is IJ-515341 and costs $9.99. At first it may seem a little embarrassing to use, but I tell you that "When you gotta go, you gotta go"!! It can be used with a towel wrapped around you etc for more privacy. I hope that this has helped and Happy Boating!

  12. This kind of gross but if I had to do it I would jump in the water and pee..last weekend we were out at the lake and there were no bathrooms close and i was like "you guys I need to pee!!" lol and they were like go in the lake!! haha So last resort, you gota do what you gota do!!

  13. Just jump in and do your business. Act like you want to go swimming and then swim around and pee then get out and say it was cold so they dont get in and feel the warmness!!!

  14. Take paper towel or wet 1s> use a bucket with a little water in it> Or jump over the side> Hope your not modest>And it's call a <head> not bath===And I'm talking the ocean>Not a lake>

  15. Everyone I know just jumps in the lake and pees there.  No wiping.  It's pretty much just roughing it when you're on a boat with no bathroom on a boat.  If you're in a lake where you can't jump in then you're going to have to beg the driver to drive you back to the dock to go.
