  1. It's easy to find people with their peircing liscense who will do it without your parents permission.

After that, what can she do?

  2. Well I'm 16...I got my tongue pierced like 2 years ago... my dad is totally against piercings and tattoos says I'm not a farm animal...which I never got... convincing a mother is like speaking to a rock they never listen to your arguments...I got mine behind my dad's back... and I took care of it... put ice ...and made it hard for him to notice i got mine.... I know telling you to do it behind her back is wrong but as a teenager I know what it's like to argue with my dad (he didn't even want me to get my eyebrows waxed...or shave my legs!!!) did it behind his back... and well he can't do anything about what he doesn't know...

take care of it though!!! the first day is not painful... you'll want cold stuff though...the 2nd is the worse...it hurts to eat anything thats not cold...

and well I don't have my piercing anymore...I was starting to lose my taste... after a year and a half so it wasn't because I didn't take care of it...so I got 2 tattoos instead...behind my dad's back lol

  3. It's hard to convince parents especially mom on certain issues... some more on piercing ..i know my reply will sound strange but... give it a try.. Sit down and have a chat with your mom.. ask her to give you reasons for her declination... If she fails...u have a chance... but if she has reasons, try to ask her on how it might effect her...Let her know ur feelings on piercing. The best way is by communicating. Good luck.

  4. Maybe you haven't proven to her that you can make adult decisions. I recommend dropping the subject for a couple of months, and acting more mature around her. She will see the effort and it should help you get what you want.

  5. I know exactly what you mean, my parents are very uptight, but that's their job, It's not that they don't want you to get it done It's just cos they may think you might get into the habit of getting other piercings, even though you say you won't. But there's nothing you can really do to persuade your mum. So it's maybe best to wait till your older or you can be really cheeky and get it done without your parents knowing..

  6. well i say dont have anyone do it besides a porfessional! If you go to a place that does not ask for a parent signature note, then walk away because most likely there materials arent clean and they dont care about there pacients so they may do a crappy job! and the fact that they could get sued for allowing you to get one under the age of 18 says even more bad things about them! so dont do that...i have to say go with the other girl who said to sit down and talk with her. she gave you the best advice! but just dont get it done at a S****y place that only wants the money rather than happy customers.
