How to plan own Brand?

Hi, I want to create my own Brand in the Market, can you please tell me the steps that I should follow to make it happening. I mean, what are the things that would be required to create a Brand?

A brand is more about how people percieve your product or service. In developing a brand a number of factors are involved, include a corporate identity (logo/look) that should be present in all aspects of your business from letterhead, website, uniforms, promotional material, products etc... additionally there is a brand message where you try to influence you the perception of the brand.

Branding is fairly complex do some searches and read some articles there.

well initially you should be ready with your product and make a rigorous marketing plan to market your product and penetrate in market...once your product is in market...your product should have some exceptional feature that can be its USP.....this will build your brand...you need to add as much as innovation you can to your marketing plan
