How to play a gruppeto?

I am learning op.49, no.2 and there is one on the first page I need help.

Hello there.   A gruppeto is easy to do.... maybe harder to explain here... let me try.

Think of it first in numbers.  I will use the following:

   starting on 5.. - ....              5 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 5.

Applying what this implies with notes:

   If it were starting from a D you would play D-E-D-C-D

Now for explanation...   from a starting point

   Starting point - one step forward - back to the starting point - one step backward - back to the starting point.  

There you go... hope I did not overdo it... but if one example didn't do it... maybe the other two did.   :))   Hope it helped.
