  1. For masse, sit on the edge of the table with one foot ont he floor.  Then, elevate the cue almost vertical.  Look down on the cueball.  If you hit at 9 oclock (looking DOWN), the ball will kick to the right and forward, then the spin will grab the ball creating a semi-circle path.  Takes MUCH practice.  CHALK WELL

Be careful to not put the tip of hte cue through the cloth.  You are literally striking down vertically on the ball

  2. i guess its a curve shot lower english about two tips a 4or8 oclock on cue slightly elevate stick aim ball left orright of pos you want med hard stroke practice makes better Mike Massey is not perfect at it just real d---close i saw him miscue 1 time oh & the hardest tip you can find

  3. That is called masse' or something French. Some call it English.

Striking the cue ball above center will put top spin on the cue, below center bottom, left is left and so on.

A solid or stable stance is usually best, the player wants to be in relaxed and steady. Feet shoulder width apart or close is what I have seen most do. The stance is like golfing.
