How to play an .srt subtittle file with a movie?

i have powerdvd and i have a movie in avi and the subtitles to it in an .srt file... how do i get it to play in the movie??

if ur playing an avi movie, dont play it with power dvd, play it with windows media player or other media player (not a dvd player) and u will need to install a subtitle viewer, here:

afte ru install that just name the subtitle file like the movie, ie: movie1.avi, movie1.srt and put them in the sam folder, it will load subtitles automatically
