How to play flag football?

Question

Im playing cornerback.Its flagfoot ball on a girls league.Im playing one game and im starting. know hardly anything about football and its hard for me when people explain it....so please anything will help someone has to explain it to me in an understandable way.Not only myself but my whole entire JUNIOR class is depending on you guys! The rules vary slightly from one flag football league to another, but basically you will have a series of downs that you use to try to get a first down (just like in regular football), but for instance, in your league you might have to go 20 yards for a first down, rather than 10 yards for a first down like regular football.  The scoring will be similar to regular football.  You probably won't be kicking field goals, but scoring touchdowns and extra points by either running or passing the ball to get in the end zone.  The main difference between regular football and flag football is that there is a lot of running in flag football, quickness counts for a lot, strength counts for very little, the plays are mostly passing with misdirection and instead of tackling (putting someone on the ground), you pull someone's flag and they are "down".  Have fun!
