Okay, since all these jerks want to answer for fun, I'll tell you how. It's like playing guitar, but you have to hit the keys. Or as called, drums. Go through the drum tutorial.

It's pretty much like any other instrument in rockband - practice it, and the coordination will come to you. Once you have mastered the type of hand-eye coordination necessary for guitar hero, DDR, etc., learning any instrument will be easier.

I haven't a clue either. I pretty much suck at it too. My fiance does quite well and we've accepted that I am the guitarist and he is the drummer.
