How to play using LAN?

i and my friend has internet ,his house is about 10 miles away,we wanted 2 play battlefield 2142 usingg LAN.please help me ,please give me all the steps necessary 2 setup a LAN ,please

Sorry u can't. To play using LAN mode u need a LAN router thru which u connect the computers using wires , now if u have a 10 miles long wire, then u go ahead
