I've seen people posting this and i think its easy and authentic.

Beware of the shias and other deviant sects who will come here and post their sites...

    Stick to practicing muslims...

  3. Don't worry, it will take a little time but you will learn it. I think the best way is to learn from someone, face to face. You can go to the nearest mosque and learn it there. I myself learned it from someone, face to face and by reading a book

There are many websites on the Internet but I don't know how authentic they are. I found the following two websites. They describe the basics. You can browse them to get the idea. But I think you may still need to ask people face to face to clarify some things.

. Prayer is one of the five pillars of Islam. It takes about 5 to 10 minutes to offer. In the history of Islam, prayer became obligatory about twelve or thirteen years after Islam came. In the days just before the Prophet migrated to Medina, an event called Miraj happened. The night journey. He ascended into heaven in a single night and met the earlier Prophets and eventually God. It was on that occasion that prayers became obligatory.

The Prophet himself learned how to pray from Gabriel, who taught him the method by demonstrating it.

  6. Asalamu alyakum sister, welcome to Islam, may Allah bless you and keep all of us on the straight path.

If you are looking for genuine and reliable websites about Islam, please visit my question which i posted few days ago.

    Q. 1.Which websites about Islam is genuine and reliable?

         2.  And can you tell me which websites about Islam are false and           unreliable?

if you are not in the position to access the book, i suggest you use this site, but using a book is very helpful, i still use that book today to correct myself and perfect my salat. its very important to get in touch with the muslim community, you really need to get some good muslim friends...its very important because islam is incomplete without unity

i need you to remember this; its going to be a little hard and confusing in the begining, but you must try to stay on the path no matter what and find out as much right information as you can and stick to it. please, find muslim friends, look them up on face book or something!! o.O

best of luck, and i would really enjoy hearing your convert story if you sent it to me via email

by the way im a 16 yr old muslim, graduating from an islamic school in long island NY.

  13. &featuresalam wu alakom haether,

firstly I'd like to say humdolilah that your hart has turned and accepted to islam.

Here is the first clip that shows you how to pray there are other parts.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZVKFkAoP...

The above clip is correct and clear with subtitles in english.

Note men and women pray the same. If you continue to have trouble best to go to a mosque and ask a sister to help you practice. may God be with you every step.
