What I would say was, "Hey God, I've just been through something that's pretty close to h**l on earth with this marriage that's ending.  I don't want to be alone, and I'm not giving up.  I know somewhere out there is someone that I could make very happy, and that I could love forever...but I need some help.  If you would, please send her my way."

It took a while, but about a year ago, Angelface (who up to that point had been nothing more than a sharp-looking co-worker) walked into my life.  We've started going out last September, and have been really, really close since about Thanksgiving.

I know I make her very happy, and I love her very deeply, unconditionally, and eternally.  I always believed in the existence of soulmates...now I know they are real, because I've found mine.
