Question:

How to prepare for AP's over the summer and Review Books?

Next Year I am taking the following:

AP Spanish

AP English Literature and Composition

AP Statistics

AP U.S. Politics and Government

AP Physics C Mechanics (I'm taking pre-calc next year)

I was just wondering if there was anything that I could do over the summer to prepare my self for the year (make the year easier).

Also, I would like to know which review books you would recommend for each subject.

I will be a Junior so I will also be taking PSAT's SAT's and ACT's.

I took AP World in my freshmen year, and AP Chem and AP U.S. in my sophmore year, so I am already accustomed to AP's.

Thanks

  1. The books/companies vary by AP test. Some are better than others when it comes to AP test prep. Here is a list of AP tests and the corresponding "best review book" for each. I don't know if you just wanted the best review books for your subjects or every subject, so every subject is included. Good luck!

PS- If you can't find one of these review guides in a bookstore, they can all be found on Amazon.

  2. You could buy some AP prep books from Sparknotes.

But honestly, you don't need to prepare. Just enjoy your summer and quit being a nerd!

  3. AP's are just like any other class.. you just sit in the class, pay attention, do the homework, and study for the tests.  simple.  do you prepare ahead of time for your other classes?

    enjoy the summer
