How to prepare for the SAT???

I have only 1 year in hand. Plz suggest a full proof way of cracking the SAT.

Practice, practice, practice, practice, practice.

Besides studying from prep books like the Princeton Review or other ones, you can also take SAT classes that teach you methods of improving your score and how to take it. But mainly, the secret is to practice. Buy books that have practice tests on them and just keep taking them. The more used to it you get, the better you will do. And remember to take the tests under real conditions. Time yourself, have no distractions, and only breaks when breaks are allowed for the real SAT (5 minutes after section 2, 5 minutes after section 4, 2 minutes after section 6). Review your mistakes and learn what you did wrong and learn how to do it right.
