How to prepare frozen fish balls?

I bought some frozen fish balls from my local Asian grocery store...but they don't have any English on the package, so I don't know how to make them. Do I fry them, boil them, or something else?

Thanks for the help.

  1. You can make them about anyway you like. My family likes to boil them in some chicken stock and then cut them into chunks, dip it in soy sauce, and eat. Stir frying would also be delicious, though I would thaw, cook by boiling, and maybe cutting them into smaller chunks first. If you steam them, you don't have to defrost first. You can then make a yummy sause to go over it or just season it with some salt and pepper. Since fishballs are essentially meatballs made with fish, I guess you could make them with spaghetti (again, boil first) or toss them with any other kind of pasta. The ways to use them are endless, so use some imagination and make something yummy. You could also google search some recipes if you like.

    Hope this helped :D

  2. I  slice in to 4 pieces then boil it, if I will put it into Vietnamese soup noodles ,I fry it before I put it  in Chinese noodles.

  3. Fish have Balls?!?

  4. You need to defrost them first.

You can cook them by either boiling or deep frying, and add them into dishes as an ingredient or you can even eat them on their own after cooking.
