What are some good selling points to list for up coming sponsors? My driver has been racing since he was 12, who is know 22 and made rookie of the year at two tracks in 2005. I am not sure how to sell them on him. Strange, I know. But I work with celebs and pro sport teams... racing is a bit new to me....

  1. Instead of telling them what you want/need, tell them what you can offer them in terms of how you can expose their Company

  2. You need to explain what your client is going to do for their sponsorship.

Obviously their name and logo on the car.....

photoshop a picture to show them.

show how many people will see the car in person on tv

traveling on open trailer or trailer painted same as car

offer to have the race team endorse the company and hand out brochures/flyers/business cards/coupons  at the races or offer to let one of their salespersons come along

offer to display the race car and team at sponsors business and talk to fans

sponsor can have drawing with prize being a trip to races with team, helping in pits

There are many things you can do for them depending on their business. Many tracks will let sponsors come to events and set up a booth/signs  or whatever

Everyone talks up their driver.  To get sponsors you learn their business and use creativity to expose them to race fans.

If the company gains thousands (or millions) in business because of your client they cannot afford not to sponsor him or her.

We were always heavily sponsored, hardly anyone even trys.
