How to preserve a starfish and its color????

I found some starfish on the beach after a storm that I would like to preserve. (these were already dead, I put the live ones back in the water) I was wondering how I can preserve them without losing there beatiful purple and orange colors? I have heard of using alchol but with that take away the color? Thanks!!

1 part water,

other part alcohol,

3 tbs of salt,

1 small lime squeezed
