How to preserve tapioca ?

ive got a whole bag full of tapioca there soft brown little balls that are still in a sealed package, i want to cook em but wont be able to use the whole bag soo im wondering what is the best way to save my uncooked tapioca? i understand they last about a week after opening the bag

I've only seen dried tapioca which you can keep like rice.

Try freezing it.  That should work.
