How to prevent Keyboard letters from erasing?

Just wondering on some tips to prevent my laptop's keyboard letters from erasing/diminishing.

The best you can do is keep your finger nails trimmed, cause that's the number 1 cause of characters get scratch off the keys. Anyway, you can print the character back with a 1 hair brush and a steady hand.
