How to prevent and kill ants from coming in your room help !!!!!?

Okay well I have never had an Ant problem before but after cleaning my room I've found crumbs and food which is Disgusting. So many Little Ants Been coming In my room and i been stomping on them. I noticed That they come through from my wall. My wall has little cracks along the bottom. I just put Ajax with bleach along the sides but i still see more can someone please help me get rid of them.

-i dont have baby powder either and i dont have a whole lot of chemicals.

I have had problems with ants in my kitchen. I would spray ant killer everywhere and get those little traps, but who has the patience to let them take the poison back to the nest.

I finally found that they were climbing up the side wall of my steps and getting in around my door frame.

There were literally hundreds coming up the stairs.....so now I have gone to the source with my can of ant killer....havent seen them in my kitchen in a while, now.

I have also heard that boric acid will keep them away, white powder that you pour around cracks and doorways.

Use a mix of cinnamon and sugar. The ants will pick up the sugar, along with the cinnamon, and take it back to their queen. Ants can’t digest cinnamon and once the queen dies from not being able to digest the cinnamon the colony will die without her.  This is stuff most everyone has and it does the job!
