Question:

How to prevent caps from getting dusty?

anyone know? if i leave my caps out they get dirty/dusty

  1. If you are showing them off, use clear plastic bags to put them in.  If you just aren't wearing them, use any plastic bag and make sure it seals shut or the dust will get in.  When the bag is nasty, replace it.

    For "collectible" hats, there are clear, hard plastic squares you can purchase to put them in and show them off.


  2. They just will get dirty and dusty after awhile or if left around and not used. You could put them in an extra pillow case or some kind of bag to store them away from dust. I'd just throw them in the dishwasher every few months, they even sell a little plastic frame for caps, so they don't lose their shape. Or you could just try cleaning them, then rubbing them with a fabric softener sheet or spritzing them with diluted fabric softener in a spray bottle. Fabric softener - especially the new "Bounce" repels hair and lint, and might work for dust.  

  3. wash regulary (once a month) with detergent
