How to prevent liquid eyeliner from cracking?

Question

Everyday I use eyeliner on the bottom of my eye, but i sometimes will put it on top with liquid eyeliner, but it usually ends up cracking.. is there a way to prevent that? or can i use normal stick eyeliner on the top?

i would sugest pencil eye liner. it works so much better, looks for natural, stays on longer and wont crack!! good luck =]

try not to put the eyeliner on thick - put it on in two thin layers instead of a thick one. my eyeliner has never cracked.

Cheaper eyeliners tend to crack more than expensive ones. But, try using a primer on your eye before applying anything and also test out a MAC eyeliner or a Mark. eyeliner. I found they work great! Also, in my opinion, the worst liquid eyeliner I have ever used in my life was the NYC one.

I think using a normal stick would be better cause i don't know how to prevent liquid from cracking!

Liquid liners are amazing! They get you the smoothest lines. Try a better quality liner, and also, set it with same color powder while it's still wet. This will help the liner dry smoother and adhere to your skin better.

Try a liquid liner from Make Up Forever, they are really easy to work with, and stay on pretty much forever.
