How to prevent some websites fom accessing from our computer.

how to prevent the bad websites form accessing from our computer so that if you try for it later it should not display such kind of websites.please specify the ways.

go to control panel-->internet options -->restricted websites and add websites here

quite simple.The following steps will block for all browsers in the world.

go to

F:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

here F is my window installation drive name.

open the hosts file.

add lines as follows.Suppose i want to block www.google.com

then i will add a line at the end like

127.0.0.1 www.google.com

Then restart

depending upon ur browser u may find this setting in options

or anywhere

there u cn specify the websites (address)

another way is to use fire walls(the best option)

or proxy server(in organizations ) .
