How to prisoners view convicted cop-killers?

I'm well aware of how the general prison hierarchy works (child/female crimes, then drugs, to murders, etc). But, how to prisoners react to murderers that killed law enforcement officials (cops)?

In my experience they are not viewed any higher than a typical murderer.

Well they love me! kidding they are at the top of the food chain while rapests and pediphiles are at the bottom.

It depends on the prison and the gang population. The Mexican Mafia would hold a cop killer in a higher regard than a civilian killer, but the Aryan Brotherhood doesn't really care what crime you commit, unless you are a pedophile, then they kill you.
