Make your own snow.  Just need electricity, water, cold temps, and enough want to pay for it.

its expensive to make snow. there's one site you should probably check out, called backyard terrain park. it's only good if you just want to set up one rail to hit though. if you need mass quantities, it's going to be expensive. probably an investment you're not willing to make. if you live in socal, you have another option. in the evening, you drive up to the closest mountains with a pickup truck and some shovels. it has just recently snowed. you and/or your buddies can load the bed with snow and drive the truck to wherever you need to be. try mt. baldy rd., 330 (aka big bear front way), angeles crest highway, 38 (big bear back way), or the 18 (big bear valley way).

Ski areas shoot water and compressed air through nozzles to make snow.  

There are do it yourself instructions on the web.  You will need at a minimum some water and air hoses, a water hookup, an air compressor, and a snow gun.
