How to promote a baby sitting service?

Im think i might start babysitting to get some money over the summer but i was wondering how i would get the word out and how to earn people's trust.

i'm pretty experienced because i have a 3 going on 4 year old sister and i help take care of her.

The best way would be to take your sister with you and go door to door around your town with little info/business cards that you made yourself and promote your service. The best impression you can make  on someone is in person. Make sure your little sis is happy on the times she goes with you (otherwise they will think your a bad sitter lol)

On your card should be Your first and last name

The service you are providing (babysitting)

Your number

When you are availible and for how long

How much you charge

What experience you have

Your age

Are you a responsible person?

When you go to the door ask for the man or women of the house. Introduce yourself, let them know what you are trying to do. Be extra nice (even if they close the door in your face) and leave them your card.

Also an add in the news paper can work too. :) establish a relationship with your clients a few steady clients is better then a lot of random ones :)

start with flyers with hanging them in supermarkets or local coffee shops where moms tend to be or put them in peoples mail boxes that you know have kids or ask family friends or family members if you can babysit any little kids you know...
