How to promote our Child Care Center?

I am a new director at a child care center. Does anyone have any fun ideas on how to promote the center to get more children enrolled? Thanks in advance!

Try giving incentives or discounts to families who's get their friends to join.

FLYERS!!! distribute flyers around the neighborhood. Since its summer, parents are especially interested in placing their children into educational and fun activities while they are at work. make sure you give information on which person to contact if parents are interested.

Banners, posters are also good in front of the center. Maybe a bake sale made by the kids to promote your center as well??

put an ad in your local paper, maybe make some flyers advertising your child care center, or a nice fancy sign in the front of the center

Use Yahoo answers. Place add in locale newspaper.

Have an open house

Offer a parents night out , set a few hours on a Fri. evening , say ohh 6-8 for free , let the children get to know you and the parents as well. I know that is iffy but it might just work.

Well You should wait after schools when it class is getting out or kid activities like ymca

Have a little circus with clowns, balloons, silly kiddie games and snow cones.  Hand out flyers to the neighbourhood.  Then have an open house at the same time, so parents can see what the daycare is like.  Have info. sheets with prices and what you offer in case you don't have time to talk to everyone.( some people won't wait to get the info)  You could probably sell some snacks and drinks or something to off set the cost  Good Luck
